Hans Krog
Consultant, specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility
I have worked with infertility and IVF treatment since 1991 and was
trained in in vitro fertilisation (IVF) in 1992 when I had a full-time
job at Denmark’s first private fertility clinic in Frederiksberg.
From
1993 to 1996 I carried out a successful transport IVF project at
Frederiksberg Hospital, after which I took up a permanent position as a
specialist at a private IVF clinic in Hellerup.
In
1999 I was appointed consultant at Holbæk Hospital with a view to
setting up and managing a new public IVF clinic, which was to cover the
need for fertility treatment in the counties of Western Zealand,
Roskilde and Storstrøm. I was head of the Fertility Clinic in Holbæk
until October 2005 when I succeeded specialist Kim Marky-Nielsen at the
Danish Fertility Clinic.
Despite
my extensive clinical experience I give high priority to continued
professional education and training. Each year I participate in several
courses and congresses in order to be constantly updated on the most
recent treatment methods.
