I am a certified laboratory technician since 1984 and was first trained in the field of Clinical Immunology and have been working in this specialty for 18 years.
In 2001, I changed my speciality to assisted reproductive techniques in the IVF lab, because I feel this is very interesting and positive work. The last 9 ½ years I worked at a public fertility clinic. During these years, I have achieved a very great experience and routine in the techniques used in an IVF laboratory.
Since it is a field of continuous development and innovation, continuing education has always been very important for me. I improve myself by attending various courses and meetings every year. In 2004 I participated in a 3 weeks course in Human Assisted Reproductive Technologies, and in summer 2010 I graduated as an ESHRE certified Clinical Embryologist.
I love my job and the demands I have to meet every day, and I am still happy for every positive result that comes from my contribution.
In the summer of 2010 I was employed at the Danish Fertility Clinic. You will meet me when you bring a semen sample, on the phone when your questions are answered, and by oocyte aspiration and embryo transfer.
